Questions about the tour
- Do I need to pay for the tour?
- No. It is free.
- Can I take photos during the tour?
- No, taking photos and recording video or audio is not permitted during the tour.
You make take photos of the reception area, and the outside of the building.
- Can children take the tour? Is there an age limit?
- There is no age limit. The tour is designed so that students in the upper grades of elementary school are able to understand and enjoy it, but many small children have taken the tour. Elementary school students and younger cannot participate alone. They must be accompanied by a chaperone of high school age or older.
Please include the chaperone in your reservation count.
- What languages are tours conducted in?
- For individual or small group reservations made through the website, tours are guided in Japanese, but there are sections where video subtitles are available in English or Chinese.
- Is it possible to ask questions during the tour?
- Yes, but please understand that it may not be possible to answer every question for the sake of the progress of the tour.
- What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
- Wear whatever you like. You will be staying inside the facility during the tour, which is air conditioned and safe.
- How long do I have to walk during the tour?
- The tour is 90 minutes long. There are chairs for watching videos. There may not be enough seats if it is crowded, so please make space for each other.
Questions about the facility
- Can I take the tour in a wheelchair or with a stroller?
- Yes. There are no steps on the tour.
- Is there a place to change babies’ diapers?
- Yes. We have a multipurpose restroom with a diaper changing table.
- Do you have parking?
- There is only one bus parking place exclusively for private tours of students. Due to other scheduled events, use of the parking lot may not be possible, so please ask about it when you make your reservation. If you make your reservation through the website, please use public transportation.
- Are there any other parking lots near Haneda Chronogate?
- We are sorry, but because details on parking availability often changes, visitors will have to identify suitable parking themselves.
- Do you have bicycle or motorcycle parking?
- There is employee parking for bicycles and motorcycles, but we cannot guarantee that there will be spaces available, and we are not responsible for damage, theft, or other incidents.
- Can I leave my bag or suitcase somewhere during the tour?
- Yes. We have lockers you can use for free. Also, you can check large luggage in the cloakroom.
- Is there a place to eat?
- Swan café & bakery Haneda Chronogate branch is on-site.

- Can I buy Yamato souvenirs?
- We don’t have any Yamato souvenirs for sale here.
- Can I use a conference room?
- No. Our conference rooms are not open to the public.
- Do you have a smoking area?
- We do not have a smoking area for visitors.
Questions about reservations
- Can I join a tour on the day, without a reservation?
- You can join if there is a vacancy. Please call us so we can check it for you.
- Can I change the date, number of people, or cancel my reservation on the website?
- Yes, this is possible. (However, changes are subject to availability.)
To make changes or cancel, please use the URL provided in your confirmation email. You will need to enter your Reservation Number and Verification Code.
For changes or cancellations on the day of your visit, please contact us by phone. Kindly note that cancellations made without notice may prevent us from accepting your reservations in the future.

- The brochures we hand out at the beginning of the tour can be downloaded from our website.

- We ask that the representative of the group show an official form of identification, such as a driver’s license, passport, disability certificate.
