The Yamato Group activity conducts corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities from the perspectives of Safety, Environment, Society and Economy in accordance with our Corporate Philosophy.

Safety
The Yamato Group always put safety the first priority in its business, and makes every effort to ensure the safety.
For the Yamato Group, who use the public roads in conducting its business, nothing is more important than ensuring the safety of the local citizenry. Based on our philosophy of "Safety First, Business Second," we make every effort to drive safety, take active measures that improve transportation safety, and respect for human life at all times in our business operations.
Environment

As a responsibility of a Group with business operations centering on the field of logistics and possessing a very large number of vehicles, Yamato Group is aiming to balance the business growth and high efficient use of energy resources, and striving to reach the current targets.

The Group is striving to reach this goal through a more robust environmental stance, including reductions in fuel usage through the introduction of low-emission vehicles.
Society
The Yamato Group extensively communicates and keeps a good relationships with our stakeholders, especially customers, stockholders, members of local communities, business partners, and employees, and strives to ensure shared prosperity.

The Yamato Group consists of seven main business segments (Delivery, BIZ-Logistics, Home Convenience, e-Business, Financial, Truck Maintenance, and Other) with Yamato Holdings, a pure holding company, at its core.

The Group utilizes its management resources to promote its medium-term management plan, "DAN-TOTSU Three-year Plan HOP", launched in April 2011, making every effort to improve its corporate value further.
