Yamato Transport Europe B.V. has opened its South Africa branch in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa, on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
The new branch offers comprehensive logistics services, including freight forwarding and solutions to optimize the entire supply chain both within and outside the Republic of South Africa, addressing the growing demand for logistics.
The Republic of South Africa has one of the largest economies in Africa, supported by abundant mineral resources and a strong manufacturing sector, including the automotive industry, which attracts numerous international enterprises. The country is also focusing on economic reforms and infrastructure investments, enhancing its position as a logistics hub in Africa through ongoing improvements to port facilities, such as the Port of Durban, as well as road and rail networks.
